As the music industry braced itself for this weekend’s 59th Annual Grammy Awards, guests munched on scrumptious fried lamb chops and carnitas lettuce wraps while taking in the nighttime skyline set to some R&B grooves from DJ Noodles and DJ Casanova. And in between bites, there was some shoulder brushing with Melyssa Ford and Christina Aguilera’s fiancé, Matthew Rutler.

Then, it was wall-to-wall stars at Morrison Hotel Gallery at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, where musician-artist-photographer Julian Lennon and photographer and gallery co-owner Timothy White hosted “Winners”, a collective exhibition and sale celebrating all the artists who have been nominated or have won a coveted Grammy and/or Oscar. This unique exhibition showcases the rich history of these two awards and all of the artists that have been nominated and won a Grammy or an Oscar, or both.

Finally, we headed over to Avalon Hollywood for OK Magazine‘s Pre-Grammy party to enjoy some open bar action, munch on some Slim-Fast caramel crisps (washing it down with some Core Hydration water), enjoy the awesome mixes from DJ Nix…and grab a front seat to a 7-song set from the multi-talented JoJo!
