A Valentine’s Day Rubdown

by Hiko Mitsuzuka (@TheFirstEcho)

Boxes of chocolates and bouquets of roses are…kind of basic. There are only so many truffles one can eat before feeling guilty for inhaling all those calories, and tracking down a vase for those flowers is annoying — and besides, they’ll be dead in a week.

However, nothing says “I love you” like being treated to a spa session during what is arguably the most romantic season of the year. And that’s what a Pure Relaxation Massage at Burke Williams is for — not to mention other countless treatments and services.

The reputable day spa franchise is gearing up for a busy month filled with couples’ sessions, Galentine group visits, and other relaxation seekers who may just want some simple “me time” around this time of year. (We recently visited the sparking new Hollywood location and are already planning to return.) Needless to say, there’s never a bad time to escape from the non-stop chaos of life.

Current specials include the Nourishing Facial (with a complimentary peel) and a Valentine’s Day package that includes a “LOVE” blend body spray (by Body Bliss) and a “Member for a day” pass that will grant visitors access to the spa’s luxurious amenities and special member pricing on products. Book a visit here, and then you can thank us later.
