A*Men Ultra Zest Limited Edition By Thierry Mugler

A*Men by Thierry Mugler was one of the very first fragrances I bought as a teenager. Back in the 90’s it was kinda special to have a fragrance that did not smell like your father’s cologne and A*Men just like The Male by Jean Paul Gaultier was revolutionary. I remember it was a big success and also a little avant-grade for teenage boys to wear designer fragrances in the 90’s.

Almost 20 years later I am so happy to discover that Thierry Mugler is introducing a new version of his classic A*Men france with Ultra Zest Limited Edition.

For me it is a slice of souvenirs growing up in France and being obsessed by citrusy fragrances now, I could not have dreamed of a more perfect combination!

A*Men Ultra Zest, the super man discovers the energy of a summer fragrance, the new emblem of a spirited and colorful hero.

The new flacon of fragrance A*Men Ultra Zest repeats the design of previous editions in a strong orange color with a star iridescent in shades of orange.

Vigorous – The combination of mandarin juice and blood orange immediately sets a thrill that runs through this explosive fragrance, while the ginger-peppermint duo revives the senses with a jolt of freshness.

Impertinent – A spicy fusion of cinnamon, coffee and black pepper is at the heart of the fragrance’s charismatic and rebellious character.

On a personal note I have to add that for some reason I really do not enjoy cinnamon in any forms. Food or even the smell of it, but – that being said – it is so well balanced and used in A*Men that it does not affect my love for this fragrance at all. And for those you know my aversion for cinnamon it’s quite a spectacular move.

Seductive – The Vanilla, patchouli and tonka bean accord infuse the fragrance with an ultimate softness, leaving a trail of aromatic sensuality.
