We have been running from front row to front row, our first season covering fashion week in person, and I hate to admit that we have missed some great shows also. But sometimes we got lucky to live through a moment that redefines the evolution of fashion and Asaf Ganot presentation gave us just that.

We all know how hard it is to be innovative in menswear, until you see this amazing collection that presents a perfect way to layer textures, updated classic cuts, luxury well made, intelligence, durability and adaptation.

In this Fall Winter 2014 collection, Asaf Ganot fuses contemporary menswear with cutting edge technologies and construction and continues to encapsulate the essence of luxury lifestyle.

Drawing on his own experiences and travels, Asaf Ganot captures the aesthetic of the modern man; a sophisticated and functional uniform for the worldly gentleman both rugged and refined, with an air of confidence, whose wardrobe illustrates a sense of journey and discovery. Strong, masculine designs that can carry one through bustling metropolises with the same enigmatic strength as through foreign villas.

“Quilted leather jackets. cashmeres with donegal patchwork cable knits are finished with leather detailing, and rich tweed suits are complemented with shearling trimmed coats. The Subtle method of shade-blocking is present throughout the collection. These hybrid pieces blend a physical aesthetic with classic menswear fabrics, made exclusively in Italy with technical enhancements to improve comfort and maneuverability without sacrificing style, for the ever-elusive man about town.

Intense palette takes form from the darker elements: obsidian, ash and stone. Shearling, suede and leather, alongside felted wool, cashier and tweed, provide depths of texture. Rich knits blend in shiraz, beluga blue and deep purple treated with unique laundry washes in faded and tie die finishes. The result is that pieces appear to be worn by salt, air, snow and an active lifestyle; souvenirs from the journey and a reminder to always take the road less travelled.”

Fall Winter 2014 is already looking amazing, thank you Asaf Ganot.
