Money, the iconic British streetwear label present a collaborative collection with design- er Bobby Abley. The 25 year-old has been the star of London’s MAN catwalk show for the past three seasons.

The Bobby Abley X Money range, aka ‘BAM’, displays many of Bobby’s trademarks, making for a seamless partnership between the two. The collection even employs his own logos: “I’ve always been aware of Money,” says Bobby of the partnership, “The compression tops, shorts style and Disney imagery are all things I use in my own range too.”

Stand-out pieces include grey and black nylon track pants, three compression tops adorned with logos and prints, shorts bearing the legend ‘Studio Abley’, and a multi-co- loured denim crew with zip-up removable sleeves.

An all-over barbed wire print “based on the feel of the latest Disney movie Maleficent,” says Bobby appears in a reflective design across numerous pieces. Jim Crow from Dumbo, and Snow White’s forest birds, are more appropriated images featuring in vari- ous designs across mesh vests and shorts, body-conscious tops, voluminous hoodies, crews, tees, track pants and rucksacks. Both charming and challenging, Bobby’s strik- ing style has been said to evoke both the wonder and the anger of adolescence.

Money’s much-loved ‘sig’ logo plus Bobby’s own graphic ‘Abley’ are repeated high fashion-style on an understated grey background to maximum effect, on both crews and shorts. As a curtain call, one crew features Bobby’s teddy bear motif plus the legend ‘Just give me Money’ on the front, and simply a chutzpah-laden ‘Bye’ on the reverse.

Bobby Abley X Money: from the magic kingdom to the city’s frontline.

I absolutely love the Disney Maleficent inspiration and totally need this hoodie! #LOVE.

First of all, excuse my French! … I was born in the South of France. Lived in Paris for 10 years and travelled the world until I moved to Los Angeles in 2008, because obviously recession was a great time to move to a new country! I also arrived around Halloween and was greeted at the Social Security offices by a nurse who directed to the window Number 6 so a witch could hand me my social security number. Welcome to America.
