Fans of Famous in Love were thrilled when it was announced the series was picked up for a second season. One of the biggest reasons is we get to see a whole lot more of Niki Koss and her character Alexis. BELLO had the chance to catch up with Niki during her recent IT GIRL photoshoot, where we asked her about her love of Old Hollywood and what she’s got planned in the months ahead.

BELLO: Congrats on the season two renewal of Famous In Love! When do you start shooting, and when can fans expect the premiere?
NIKI: Thank you, I’m so excited! We start shooting Nov. 1st and honestly I have no idea yet when we can expect to see the premiere. Your guess is as good as mine!
BELLO: What are some of the character traits of your character Alexis Glenn that you admire the most?
NIKI: I admire Alexis’ determination and bravery. She takes risks and isn’t afraid to be bold. I also admire her ability to re-read the same script thirty times and not complain once.
BELLO: So Halloween is right around the corner. Any big Halloween plans? What was your favorite Halloween memory of all time?
NIKI: Yes! I LOVE Halloween, it’s one of my favorite holidays. I throw a Halloween party every year and my best friend and I have been planning and preparing for it non stop. My Pinterest is currently flooded with Halloween decoration ideas… so is my apartment.
BELLO: You’re a huge fan of Old Hollywood. If you were given ‘carte blanche’ to remake your most favorite Hollywood classic film, what would it be, and what kind of spin would you put on it?
NIKI: That depends. If I was directing this I think I would pick something like How to Marry a Millionaire and make it in modern day New York. I love the way that movie looks and I’ve always felt like it’d be such a fun remake. If I was acting in it, I’d probably pick something a little more serious and sexy like To Have and Have Not.
BELLO: In what ways has Hollywood changed the most since the days of its golden age?
NIKI: I feel like everything changed in the rise of technology and I’m not thrilled about it to be honest. Because of social media we are in a whole new arena and Hollywood barely looks even remotely the same.
BELLO: What are you most looking forward to in the months ahead?
NIKI: I’m really excited to get back to work and see my cast and crew every day. I’m also super excited for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’m a big holiday nerd if you can’t tell.
