BELLO WATCH: So you have been cast as ‘Gracie’ in the highly anticipated film “Concussion” alongside Will Smith, congratulations! What can you tell me about your role in this film?

SARA LINDSEY: Gracie is Bennet’s lab assistant at the coroner’s office. She and Bennet work as a team, performing autopsies and analyzing forensic data.

BW: There is an incredible cast all round, Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson to name a few. What was the atmosphere like on set?

SL: It was a very fun set. We were all excited to be there, working on a movie with such social importance, and with such a great script.

BW: How did you find working alongside Will Smith? What is going to surprise people about this film?

SL: I loved working with Will. Our process to approaching the work is very similar, so we had a great time. I think people will be surprised by his complete transformation. He sounds and moves exactly like the real Bennet Omalu, and he has a huge emotional range.

BW: Hopefully you had some time off to relax this holiday! What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

SL: I love opening stockings. My mom always does stockings for our dogs with treats and weird stuffed animals that make noises, and they freak out. It’s amazing entertainment.

BW: You also have a lot of upcoming projects. Is there anything you’d like to share with your fans?

SL: I do! Look out for a movie called “Blue Jay” which will be available soon.
