Blackish: Keeping Up With The Johnsons

Kana Barris‘ ABC comedy Blackish about a well-off African American family living in predominately white neighborhood is the type of comedy that you didn’t realized was needed until it’s here. Turning racial jokes, stereotypes and misconceptions and discussing them in the right way-the goodway-the funny way. Best of all, it’s seen through the unique eye of the Johnson family. With hollywood veterans and comedy powerhouses Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson and Jennifer Lewis as regulars, Blackish is one show that is sure to have you laughing out loud again. All it takes is a word from scene stealer Yara Shahid as Zoe Johnson to remember Hilary Banks and her own family on The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. Perhaps the Johnsons are the new Banks?
