C’est La Banana! The ‘Minions’ Are Back …

Minion (written Mignon) means cute in French and they sure are … Here’s the first trailer for Universal and Illumination Entertainment’s Despicable Me spinoff starring those crazy yellow things … The voice cast includes a few folks you might have heard of: Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney and Steve Coogan. Directed by DM and DM2 helmer Pierre Coffin and written by Bryan Lynch. Watch:

ps: since the minions do speak some of my language (French) I feel like I need to clarify the banana thing. If in English going banana can mean going crazy, in French when you say “J’ai la banane” it means I am in a super good mood. Even tho in their case it may be a little bit of everything.
