Justin Cloud, also known as JC Caylen, has amassed over 6 million subscribers across all his social media platforms over the past six years. The 24-year-old Internet sensation, originally from Houston, Texas, began his career over half a decade ago and the young artist has no desire in slowing down just yet.

“It all started in 2010 when I made my first video. Then that stemmed to meeting people online, then meeting those people in person. It started off with me and five other guys. That went on for two years before we broke up. We’re still really good friends.” However, JC continued to collaborate with one of the members, “Kian stuck around, we’re on the same wave. It’s so easy.”

Hot off the heels from his second tour, JC opened up about his whirlwind career and time spent abroad. “Tour was a lot of fun. We went all the way to Europe. I have to say Ireland was my favourite place. Well Iceland too because of the natural beauty but Ireland was just a party. I was there on a Tuesday night and they get more down than LA does on a Saturday night! They’re amazing and they love Americans too.”

Apparently the final moments of the tour struck a chord for the budding artist. “It’s pretty cheesy but the memory I like the most was our last show in the States, everyone knew it was our last show so we kind of went out with a bang.”

“When it was time to leave the stage I didn’t want to go and everyone was cheering. It was kind of a breathtaking moment, I remember holding the mic and making up words because I didn’t want to leave. I literally said on the mic ‘I don’t know what I’m saying I just want to stay on the stage for a little bit longer.’ I was hugging the crowd and everyone was going crazy. That was a special moment. It was a bittersweet moment when it ended.”

As well as touring the world, JC and Kian have also taken things a step further. The dynamic duo released a book titled ‘Don’t Try This At Home.’ Speaking about the beginnings of the book JC said, “it’s more of a coming of age story, how we got to be where we are now. It’s just about our lives, how we met. When I first started doing this you couldn’t even make money from YouTube, this is six years ago and now look at it, it’s a whole new world.”

However, JC made it very clear that he doesn’t want to be solely defined by his acting and YouTube channels. “I’m coming out with a clothing line. I don’t want it to just be a clothing brand though, I want to start a movement. I’m not exactly sure what that movement is yet and I’m not sure exactly what my clothing line’s going to be called but it is the beginning stages of it.”

“This is my dream. I like doing YouTube and I like acting, I like touring, I like travelling but I really want to get into fashion. I want to start a lifestyle. I want it to be big, bigger than what I am.
