The young and beautiful Jordyn Jones is truly an artistic Jack of all trades. The passion behind her can be seen whether she steps onto stage with her dancing shoes on, microphone in hand or ready for the camera to start rolling. She continues to amaze viewers with her original songs and covers such her latest rendition of “The Middle” leaving audiences with jaws dropped. Jordyn Jones is working on many projects including new original music being released this month which is sure to only leave people wanting more!

1.You have had quite a career in entertaining audiences. What inspires you to perform as a dancer, actress and now singer?

What inspired me to be a dancer was my mom. My parents owned our dance studio back home in Michigan so I basically grew up performing and competing.  After moving to LA to become a professional dancer, I tried out acting around the age of 13.  I was cast in the YouTube Red series “Dance Camp” at 15. What really drew me to acting was watching a lot of my other friends transitioning!  As you may know, I’ve always wanted to be a singer and was fortunate to gain experience early on after being cast in an all girls group called “The 5 LP’s.  I have always been inspired by  Britney Spears & Miley Cyrus growing up. I’m so happy to also have my fan base who support me and inspire me the most.

2.You have now released seven original songs: what inspired you to become a songwriter? Any particular source(s) of inspiration?

What inspired me to start songwriting was the mentors I have always been surrounded by. Working with the top songwriters in the business is amazing and I learn so much everyday by them!

3.Mixing your three talents, in your recent cover music video of “The middle,” it is evident that singing and dancing are major passions: what goes through your mind when you perform? How do you feel when the first beat of the song starts?

What goes through my mind when I perform is making sure I am focused and staying true to myself as a performer. I’m confident with all of the details of my performance from the choreography to the lyrics so when I perform I just let go, trust myself and let my body take over. When I hit the first beat of every song something comes over me that feels almost magical and everything just happens naturally.

4.Is there anyone in your life who particularly inspired you, someone you consider a role model?

I would consider my mom my biggest inspiration because she was a dancer and baton twirler and then owned our dance studio along with my dad. Kyle Williams Keiser, my godmother, was my mom’s inspiration and mentor her whole life and has quickly taken on that roll in my own life.

5.When you are not dancing, what is a hobby of yours that many fans may not know of and what makes it so special to you?

I play Fortnite in my free time and I sometimes stream live on Twitch. Fortnite is a game where you battle 99 other people, drop in and load up, take down enemy’s and hopefully take that #1 Victory Royale!  Being a dancer I was immediately drawn to the game because of the epic dance moves within the game itself.

6.You have over 1.5 million subscribers on Youtube: what made you decide to start your own channel when you did in 2008?

The reason we made my YouTube channel was due to the fact that we wanted to share my dances from when I was little and attending dance competitions.  It was a great way to save those memories and to share with family and friends that weren’t able to attend competitions.  It has been a great keepsake and every now and then I will go back and watch some of my early dances.  It’s been a great way to remember my past, learn from my mistakes and to remember where I came from.

7.As you may know, Bello magazine is a style and lifestyle outlet. Tell us about your personal style? Do you have a favorite designer? A piece of clothing or accessory you can’t be without?

I love fashion! It’s a big part of my life. I really don’t have a favorite designer because I always want look different and wear something you wouldn’t expect!  A  favorite piece in my own collection and something I couldn’t live without are my new Balenciaga shoes!

8.What is next for Jordyn Jones?

I have so many amazing things coming up! First I have a phone case collaboration coming out with WildFlower and I will be selling them at Vidcon! Speaking of Vicon, I will be performing on stage there for my 3rd year in a row! I have an all new set & new dancers that were selected from the latest audition we had and I am excited to work with an all new team that will be headed up by choreographer Kevin Maher. I have a Facebook watch show where I take you along on my amazing journey with new episodes that post each Sunday! Most importantly I am releasing a brand new, original song THIS MONTH!!

9.If you could go back in time to any era, which one would it be? GO.

I wouldn’t want go back in the past. I’m living my best life right now and doing my thing in 2018!!

10.Picture yourself 10 years from now: what does it look like?

In 10 years I see would love to see myself continuing to perform on stages all over the world, sharing my love for life, dance and music with fans and hopefully get the opportunity to perform on award shows and being nominated for any one of them would be the icing on the cake.

I also arrived around Halloween and was greeted at the Social Security offices by a nurse who directed to the window Number 6 so a witch could hand me my social security number. Welcome to America.
