LIFETIME’S NEWEST VICTIM HAUNTS IN “TERROR IN THE WOODS”


Although Halloween may be over, there are still many films that will continue to haunt us for the rest of the year, especially those inspired by true events. In similar fashion, Lifetime debuted the horror film TERROR IN THE WOODS starring young actress Skylar Morgan Jones (CW’s “Dynasty”, “The Vampire Diaries”). The film, perfectly debuted for the Halloween season, follows the recorded incident of a young 12-year-old girl that is stabbed by her best friends. Audiences have compared the film to the real-life reported incident of 2014 in which young girls committed a similar crime they related to the internet meme and story of Slenderman, and as many of you know, Bello recently sat down with scream queen Joey King.

Immediately, we were drawn to the character of Emily and lead victim behind the role, Skylar Morgan Jones. No stranger to acting Skylar is a decorated actress known for her work on The CW’s “Dynasty”, “The Vampire Diaries”, and several short films including the award-winning short, “iGirl”. Other roles include: “Dandelion Days”, “Your Worst Nightmare”, “Still the King”, “Sanity Break”, “Powers” and more!

At such a young age, Skylar has already been nominated at the world known Toronto International Film Festival for the “Best Actress Award” and the Rising Star Award at the New York International Film Festival. It is clear that Skylar Morgan Jones is set to star in many upcoming and challenging roles for years to come.
