Hallmark Movies & Mysteries honored U.S. troops deployed around the world at Christmas during its World Premiere screening of ‘Operation Christmas’ at The Grove in Los Angeles on Monday 14th November.

Stars Marc Blucas, Tricia Helfer and Lisa Durupt were on-site to celebrate with Captain Jason Haag [USMC (Ret.)] and his canine Axel, winner of the 2015 Hero Dog Award for ‘Service.’ They were also joined by Alison Sweeney, Danica McKellar, Brennan Elliott, Dylan Neal, Meghan Ory, Barbra Niven, Home & Family hosts Mark Steines & Debbie Matenopoulos and many more!

Crown Media Family Networks announced at the screening that it would be donating thousands of Hallmark holiday cards to Operation Gratitude to send to troops around the world.  Holiday cards were also available on-site for guests to sign.

‘Operation Christmas’ follows a single mom who finds love with a military sergeant deployed right before Christmas. Determined not let it ruin the holidays for her and her children, she develops a way to support other military families on his base and, as their efforts go viral, are rewarded in ways they never imagined. The film premiered Sunday, November 20, (9 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
