This hidden gem lies in the heart of the East Village, located on 95 first avenue on the corner of sixth street. If you go, make sure to order the crudo & caviar as well as the oysters. It’s a Hawaiian treat filled with caviar & creme fraiche – truly magical.

2) Goodnight Sonny’s

You wouldn’t think this cute little place on 1st and St Marks would be hiding some of the most delicious (and cheapest!) oysters, would you? Not only are they fantastic but during happy hour (from 4pm – 7pm) they are only $1 for one oyster! Of course, a crisp glass of pinot grigio is the perfect addition.

3) The Mermaid Inn

Every day from 5-7pm they have happy hour where their East Coast oysters are only $1.25. If you want to upgrade your beverage from wine you’ve got to order the Mermaid Mary Old Bay Spiced Bloody Mary.
