The Best States To Have The Most Fun

Planning a holiday in the United States can be a bit of a minefield due to the vast number of appealing places to consider and the wide variety of attractions they offer. However, there are a few states that should definitely be considered if the main priority of your trip is fun!

The state of Nevada, due to being the home of the legendary Las Vegas, often referred to as Sin City’  is widely viewed as the place to go in the USA if fun is what you are looking for. Even if gambling isnt your thing, visiting many of the magnificent casinos on offer is a must. Ensure that you at least get a glimpse of inside of the likes of the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and the MGM for a start.

Aside from the casinos, the other sight that must not be missed when taking a trip here is the Grand Canyon, if finances and time permit, a helicopter tour over the Canyon will provide you with unrivalled views. If youre still looking for a further thrill go and do a bungee jump from the Stratosphere, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the USA.

New Jersey is home to the ‘Vegas of the East’ Atlantic City, inspiration for the U.S. version of the board game Monopoly, famous for beautiful beaches, the boardwalk and collection of casinos. It is the gaming and resort capital of the East Coast and attracts more than 27 million visitors a year, making it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the USA. If you just step inside one casino in Atlantic City make sure it is the Borgata, home to 3475 slot machines and 85 table poker room and also the largest hotel in the city. Furthermore, New Jersey is the only state to allow online gambling and therefore offers at least a dozen of online casinos, PartyCasino being one of them.

Home to Disneyworld, amongst many other fantastic theme parks, Florida really is the place to head. If you want to find a place where you will never be bored or run out of things to do then Manhattan, capital city of the state of New York is a must visit. Go be a tourist at the top of the Empire State Building, go ice-skating at the Rockefeller if you have the chance to witness a beautiful winter here, soak in the atmosphere at Times Square, or experience the wonderful wide array of culinary delights the city has to offer. At night you will be overwhelmed by the choice of bars and nightclubs that face you, with something for everyone to enjoy.

If breath taking views, amazing natural landscapes and close encounters with nature are your idea of fun Alaska is the state you are looking for. Alaska is renowned for jaw dropping scenery, mountain ranges, crystal clear lakes and waterfalls. Its also one of the best spots in the world for viewing wildlife, you will have the opportunity to see whales, bald eagles and bears amongst many other creatures. Alaska is home to a vast number of national parks, so visiting them all on one trip is not possible, however make sure that Denali National Park is top of the list. Denali National Park is centred on Denali Mountain, the highest mountain in North America and activities available here in winter include cross country skiing, snow-machining and dog sledding.
